First Education Group — Broadening Students’ Global Perspectives
First Education Group is a renowned organization in Hong Kong that organizes international educational programs. Guided by the mission of broadening students’ global perspectives, we have for many years hosted and coordinated a wide range of academic and arts competitions and events, enabling students to perform on the international stage, exchange ideas with world-class peers, expand their worldview, and obtain credentials that support admission to top-tier institutions.
We organize the international mathematics competition GMEC, Global Mathematics Elite Competition and ASAF, Asia Students Arts Festival, a major annual arts event in Asia. We also run international music and dance competitions, including IYMMC, International Young Musicians Music Competition, Wien and the related IYDC, International Young Dancers Competition. Each year we lead artists and performers from various regions to finals, concerts, and masterclasses in Vienna, at the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music in the UK, and other European venues. In addition, we undertake organization for prominent international and Asian competitions and events such as WMI, World Mathematics Invitational, SEAMO, Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad, OLPCS, Olympic Mathematics Competition, the Sydney International Music & Arts Festival, competitions and exchange delegations with the Central Conservatory of Music, CCTV Children’s Spring Festival Gala productions, EIMOC, International Music Open Competition, and TEIPV International Piano & Violin Competition, among other large-scale projects.
We provide a high-quality international educational platform across Asia for students from Hong Kong and around the world to engage in academic and cultural exchange, thereby raising Hong Kong’s profile in international education. Each year we bring nearly a thousand students to participate in various academic and arts events and competitions worldwide, helping them broaden their horizons and pursue distinction.
Our partners span the globe and include notable institutions such as AoPS, Art of Problem Solving in the United States, Olympic Cultural Enterprise in Asia, Terry Chew Academy in Singapore, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Vienna’s MusikQuartier (formerly the century-old Prayner Conservatory), the Central Conservatory of Music, China Central Television, and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Events we organize are also co-hosted by diverse partner organizations, jointly developing a wide range of educational programs that offer international academic and arts competitions, masterclasses, and overseas exchange tours, giving students broad exposure.
Based in Hong Kong, we provide educational services to local kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. In response to growing demand in the international education market, our operations have expanded rapidly: participants in our programs now come from the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Poland, China, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia, Azerbaijan, Albania, South Africa and more. We serve tens of thousands of participant instances annually, and over the years have worked with hundreds of schools and educational institutions, earning a strong reputation.
Looking ahead, we will further expand our scope, launch more internationally valuable educational competitions and activities, enhance service quality, and continue to lead students to broaden their global perspectives.
