Vienna, Austria - In a spectacular display of talent and dedication, young musicians from different places of the world achieved outstanding success at the prestigious International Young Musicians Music Competition held at Das MuTh, the official performance venue of the Vienna Boys' Choir.
This year’s competition brought together finalists from over 15 countries and regions, including Bulgaria, Cuba, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Macau, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand, and Shanghai, to compete in one of classical music's most revered settings.
The Vienna Final was adjudicated by an esteemed panel of world-class musicians, including Prof. Mag. Arno Steinwider-Johannsen, Prof. Hans-Peter Stenzl, Prof. Prof. Luigi Manta, Prof. Markus Prause, Prof. Konstantin Weitz, Prof. Stephen Chaundy, Prof. Lubica Gracova, Prof. Eric Lamb, Mag. Zsuzsanna Ave-Nagy, and Mag. Art. Florian Stoger, who also conducted masterclasses, further enriching the participants' experience.
Heung To Middle School's choir has made Hong Kong proud by securing second place in the Choir Competition. Their stellar performance not only earned them accolades but also an invitation to perform at the 98th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Liberation Army of China. Their participation in the China-Austria Embassy event further demonstrated their exceptional talent and captivated audiences with their harmony and skill.
